I purchased the Sansa Fuze for my kid's 7th birthday. She'd been using the Sansa Shaker for several years but with all the songs she has she's been wanting a player that would allow her to choose the songs she wants to listen to. This player is perfect for her little hands. The menu is easy to navigate. She loves to listen to her audio books on it, and has a few little cartoons on it too. It covers it all. She uses it everyday, and takes it everywhere with her.
Highly recommanded.
Here's a couple of things I found out that might help you:
- If the titles on your fuze are different from the files you have on your computer, you need to change the metadata, and you can do that through the Rhapsody software that comes with the player. Then you upload the songs/books through the software as well.
- If the format of the item you're trying to upload isn't compatible with your Fuze, just use the Sansa Media Converter (google it).

Bought one for one daughter...she liked it so much we bought one for our other daughter. So much more reasonable than getting hooked one spending hundreds and hundreds on the Apple family of products!

Our public library, has hundred's of audiobooks available for download and this little device makes it a real joy. This device remembers where you left off on each book you store on the device. The battery easily lasts the whole day and it's just the right size to fit in my front pocket making it very portable. I have it in one of those clear plastic protective cases and use it around my farm almost all the time. I did try watching a movie once but the screen is just too small. Same for pix.
